In March of 2020, Hugh Cassidy, Sandan in Daito-Ryu Aikibudo, was awarded the priviledge of operating the Fudoshin Dojo of Cleveland, Ohio, USA, as a member of the Daitokai International under the leadership of Antonino Certa Shihan of Milan, Italy. Because of this, the dojo is a member of Takeda's Samurai Clan.

The Fudoshin Dojo of Cleveland, located at the Metzenbaum Center in Chesterland, Ohio, under Dojo-Cho - Hugh Cassidy, and Sempai - Josh Peterson, is currently offering classes in person.

The Fudoshin Dojo is also a member of the United Self Defense Fedeation under Soke Bob Fields. In the USDF, Hugh Cassidy is the Director of Aiki Jutsu, and Josh Peterson is Director of Goshin Aikido.
